Yaya is the daughter of a Lebanese industrialist and an Egyptian mother. Yaya spent her early childhood in Lebanon. She lived between France, Switzerland and the United States, which allowed her to study in the most prestigious schools. But Yaya is so passionate, she had only one dream, she wanted to sing. In 2008, she recorded her first single entitled «Yay», which was viewed on YouTube more than 10 million views and was on TV on melody hits being number 1 for 3 consecutive months during summer 2008.Yaya is also dedicated to humanitarian causes and is very active in her mission for women’s rights.
